Thunder and Lightning

So we are having a pretty violent thunderstorm which, don’t get me wrong, I love.  I do, however, need to leave to go to school and in order to get there I have to take the bus.  To get to the bus stop I have to walk almost 2 blocks once you count the area I have to walk through my apt. complex.  Since it is pouring rain I will have to walk with my umbrella which I am a little afraid of doing since about every 4 seconds there is a seriously violent lightning strike somewhere nearby.  Umbrella = metal pole in my hand = lightning rod.  I don’t want to end up dead.  I wish I could just skip life today.    Wish me luck.
